✨She’s Beautiful Spotlight🍂

Beginning her life in Germany, Elisabet Ney became one of the world’s most accomplished sculptors before making Austin her home. At a time when few women were recognized as professional artists, she broke barriers with talent, determination, and an unwavering belief in her craft.

From her Austin studio, she created some of the most iconic sculptures in Texas history, including portraits of Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin. Her work helped preserve the faces and stories of those who shaped our state while proving that art belongs at the heart of Texas.

Today, her studio she called Formosa still stands in Austin in the Hyde Park neighborhood as the Elisabet Ney Museum. A lasting reminder that creativity, courage, and vision can leave a legacy for generations.

There’s something timeless about a Texas voice that sounds like it’s lived a hundred stories. Julianna Rankin carries such a sound.

Raised on classic country, blues, and the spirit of the Bluebonnet state, her music feels both familiar and new. Songs that belong on long drives, sunset painted fields, late night table conversations, and worn wooden dance floors. Inspired by the great country legends she’s helping carry the soul of Texas music into a new generation.

Newly signed to @bigloudtexas the Austin rooted label founded by Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall, Julianna is becoming one of the rising voices shaping the future of Texas country.

Her songs carry heartbreak, humor, honesty and like the best Texas artists, she doesn’t just sing the music she believes in it!
