I discovered the @sugababes in 2002 when I played Round Round in my spin classes and became a huge fan over the years. This show was beyond amaze and the ladies were sooooo nice. F*CKING BEYOND!

Competition season has warpped. It was a mix of highs and hardships, many hours training with consistent focus, and I'm proud of the progress. Now I'm even more excited to keep pushing forward.

A few action snaps from the US Summer Nationals meet to recap the efforts.

An 🍏 a day keeps Roque at play by @sbspins

SD Long Course Championsh Meet - I swam in 5 events and had 3 PR's:

🏆200 Breaststroke
🏆200 IM
🏆50 Butterfly

The interesting thing about competing is that sometimes you feel strong going in and don't perform well, and then there are times like this meet where I didn't feel that great going in yet swam strong throughout.

It was a fun day with the @diffstrokeswim boys! by @sbspins

Enjoyed two very different live shows this past weekend, both were top notch!

Happy 1st Birthday Roque!!!!! 🎂

My handsome, destructive, endearing little man is one today. He keeps me on my toes and adds joy to my life.

It's hard to be away from him today, but he's being spoiled at home and we'll continue the celebration when I'm back in a few days. by @sbspins

Introducing Bandido, the Roque transport whip. by @sbspins

One year ago my father Richard unexpectedly passed away. I've thought of him often with new memories coming as time passes. Recently I was reminded of him when I saw a remnant of my unintentional watch collection.

After Estelle became too sick to do routine tasks he took over sending holiday and birthday gifts. While Richard typically had a great memory it seemed that didn't apply to gift giving as I started to receive a box from Macy's every December for the holidays and every May for my birthday. While I appreciated the gesture, I haven't worn a watch since I was about 15 and my very colorful Swatch stopped working.

For the first couple of years I thanked him and then returned the watch to Macy's. Finally after my 7th or 8th watch from him I asked if he was intentionally trying to give me the largest watch collection in the country. We had a laugh and I assumed that would take care of that situation, until my next birthday when a Macy's box arrived with a watch inside. 🤷‍♂️ by @sbspins

US Masters Summer Nationals was a difficult meet for me. Despite my strong performance last month in Spain and increased training I couldn't hit my goals. I held some of my progress but wasn't able to excel.

I'm thankfully for the friends cheering me on. Competing against elite swimmers is always inspiring so I'm taking the learnings on to the next. For this one I'm just "happy to be at the table". by @sbspins
