And thats a wrap on this coffee table! Feels great to finally build something just for our home. by @sbt_designs

Built a new coffee table for the Mrs and I! Well… It’s technically not done yet. I gotta stain it a dark walnut color, but i wanted to document it before because i love the raw tones of this maple and white oak👌🏻

Stay tuned for the finished product photos! by @sbt_designs

Live edge serving/charcuterie board. Let that walnut speak for itself on this one. Tried to keep the board as natural as possible by keeping the live edge and rounding over all the edges. Cracks and “defects” filled with black epoxy.

Board measures 15”x11”x1 3/4”

This board is for sale! DM me for pricing and inquiries. by @sbt_designs

Made this cutting board double sided and messing around with a different style this time. Maple and walnut with soft chamfered edges all around. Board measures 14”x11.5”x1.5”

This board is for sale! DM me for pricing/inquiries. by @sbt_designs

This was a fun project to build! A couple in my neighborhood had a slab leak and the water damage caused them to get rid of their original pantry which led to us being able to make a new one exactly how they wanted it. Shelves are adjustable and we added heavy duty drawers on the bottom to hold bulkier items. by @sbt_designs

Wall hooks with a more of a modern vibe. Great for bath towels, hand towels, keys, dog leashes, coats, hats, bags, etc… Currently have a 2 pack of oak and a 2 pack of maple hooks. Can also make these in walnut, white oak, and mahogany. by @sbt_designs

When the wife needs shelves to make the kids room feel more like an actual kids room, it’s Spencer to the rescue! This is one of the few times that building something myself is actually cheaper than buying it… I am actually digging the look of the unfinished maple plywood, edges and all. by @sbt_designs

Clean and classy mahogany charcuterie board👌🏻 This board measures 19.5” x 9” x 3/4.” Selling for $65 w/ free local delivery. by @sbt_designs

Regrettably never got a decent pic of this behemoth of a coffee table (66” x 36”) as I built it while in the middle of a move and big life change. These photos are just some progress pictures I used to update client on the build.

I gotta say, making perfectly good lumber look like its old and beat up is not an easy look to achieve in the slightest. It felt like i had to throw best practices out the window for 90% of the steps in this project in order to get the look I was going for. Every project has its own unique challenges and I am grateful for the opportunity to go a little outside my comfort zone and do something a little different than normal. by @sbt_designs
