And it's one of the most important ones.

The question is - When should GCSE revision begin?

The answer - earlier than you think.

Revision works best when it builds gradually.

Short, regular sessions allow students to revisit topics and strengthen understanding without last-minute pressure and panic.

If it's revision without past papers 20-45mins is a sensible time to revise in a block - long enough to build momentum and short enough to avoid revision fatigue and low attention.

Consistency leads to far better results than cramming. And more importantly a calmer, more confident teenager.

Not my typical day, but like home education tutoring, it’s all about connection.

I know that for families learning outside of school, having the right support in place can make a real difference.

It’s not just about covering content, but building confidence, providing structure where needed, and guiding students through exams and next steps.

I work closely with each student, offering flexible support across one-to-one sessions, small groups, workshops and holiday sessions, both online and face to face.

For those who need it, sessions can be revisited, and progress is clearly tracked so you can see how your child is developing over time.

Students are supported not just in sessions, but between them too, with resources and guidance to help them continue their learning independently.
