FOUR PASS LOOP DAY! Holy smokes, what a dream come true.

Christy & I successfully completed our first mountain marathon adventure yesterday! 28 miles with ~8,000ft of vertical gain fueled by sour patch kids, pickle flavored electrolytes & a whole lotta joy.

I have learned SO much in my previous outdoor endeavors that have ultimately led me here. Do it scared! Do it smiling AND crying! Just DO IT!

Well shucks, happy 2026! In 2025 I learned the importance of solo time; I call it my “Soph” year. Full trust in myself in the outdoors is something I’m proud of. A huge shoutout, though, to the friends that ran to the tippy tops of mtns with me! Being outside is a gift. (Hence all the pics of being outside)

The day I had been prepping all year for panned out in a way I certainly wasn’t expecting.

I’m so proud of all that I’ve accomplished + the relationships that have blossomed along the way. Shared experiences in the outdoors are what I live for, and mountain running is where I feel most alive. Movement is medicine!

1.21.25 - My daily walk to work.
Yeah, sometimes I walk in the middle of the street — it’s Lyons, after all. The world feels heavy right now…but the little moments of joy each day make it seem a little lighter. Turning inward this winter has been the greatest gift of them all (still goin!).
