Trying not to feed the wildlife🤣
That was nuts, we saw the drone, then the tip of the fin and massive ripples coming straight at us. Once the great white was close we could see the whole body. That thing was massive🥳

My favorite place on Maui by far.

Hawaiian legends speak of powerful moʻo, dragon-like guardians, that lived in these rivers and hidden pools to protect the valley.

It definitely feels alive…

I wasn’t expecting so much action and so many cool underwater arches, caves and crevasses. I’ll definitely go explore some more. You just need the perfect conditions with no swell, no wind and no clouds😄 So hopefully early mornings this summer. Sea turtles were everywhere, the baby turtle was so curious and kept coming towards me (maybe because my hair looks like seaweed😄) Hundreds of fish of all sizes.
I’m free diving by myself (don’t do it) so I keep my underwater time between 45s and a minute, my chill zone…
The hardest part of free diving for 2 hrs is re adapt to land life🥳
Spending time in Pismo with my friend the great white (filmed by @caveman_476 ) is not gonna keep me out of the water🤣

This wave only wakes up a few days each winter on Maui…

The Pacific meets an underwater reef and turns into something unreal. You can hear the waves from miles away!

When a massive north swell travels thousands of miles across open ocean and hits the deep-to-shallow ledge at Jaws… the wave stands up almost vertically, and throws a barrel that looks impossible…
