Meet Emma Scalzo (B.F.A., advertising and branding), who spent her summer interning at L’Oréal with Urban Decay Cosmetics on the Global Innovation Marketing team in El Segundo, CA! 🫶🫶

This summer, Emma helped the Innovation Eye Makeup team develop concepts and campaigns, worked with the UD Product Development team to swatch and photograph new formulas, and conceptualized a comprehensive 360° marketing campaign for an upcoming blockbuster launch as her final project💄

We’re so proud to see Emma take her advertising and branding experience at SCAD into the global beauty industry! 🐝

We are incredibly proud of our students and the impact of their work. 🐝✨

Last year, SCAD students traveled to Shanghai and Singapore alongside industry mentor Kelly Kovack, Founder of BeautyMatter, to explore the future of experiential retail through a global lens. Their immersive research culminated in a thought-provoking paper, now published on BeautyMatter.com. 🌟

From the evolution of immersive retail to shifting consumer behaviors, our students presented compelling insights into how beauty is being redefined through innovation, culture, and community across global markets. 💫

It is inspiring to see our students driving meaningful industry conversations and transforming academic research into real-world influence. 🤩✨
