1972 Mercedes Benz 280 SEL. One of my favorites from Hot Wheels. They did a great job on this one. #mercedesbenz #280sel #classicmercedes #slammed #164scalediecast by @scaledreams

Antique store finds from yesterday in San Antonio. I got those Zingers with the intention of ripping them open…we’ll see. I do that all the time and in the end I end up with a bunch of carded cars. Favorite one this time? Probably the police Plymouth Fury. #antiquestorefinds #vintagediecast #zingers #streetmachines #armytank by @scaledreams
Hots! Hots! Hots! Hot Wheels catalog from long ago. I can appreciate the new technology we have but there’s no feeling like flipping another page and looking at real pictures trying to imagine what those cars look like in real life. Personally, when the books are older, I also like the smell of the pages I’m going through. #hotwheels #catalog #diecastcars #toycars #vintagebooks by @scaledreams

Shazam! I am not sure if this thing exists in real life, most likely not, but it looks like something Barris would have built in the sixties when he started building show rods and movie cars. It’s pretty cool looking except for the broken exhaust pipe on the right side. Is this a vehicle from a comic book or something? Do you guys know? Maybe from a cartoon series? #shazam #kartracing #formula1 ? #vintagediecast #corgidiecast by @scaledreams

Back a long, long time ago, I didn’t just customize die-cast cars and build models, I also rebuilt a few garage dioramas like this one here. I took this one apart and repainted the walls, the floor, added a few pictures and posters. Detailed the desk and the water bubbler and added my “company name” on the wall. If I had a real company this is what the name and logo would look like. “RP design” in black and red and all the cars coming out of our shop would be silver, no exceptions…lol A little dreaming never hurt no one. Here’s mine… The cars are all Schabak and Schuco models I believe. #143scale #garagediorama #vwtuning #rpdesign #volkswagen by @scaledreams

Toyota MR2 by Hot Wheels. Somebody I know will definitely enjoy this post…I think lol Honestly, I like this car a lot and I’m not really into Japanese cars but this MR2 is a great looking car. I remember in the nineties, in Germany, there was a tuning company that could turn your Toyota MR2 into a Ferrari F355 and it actually looked real. Great car! #toyotamr2 #trd #sportscar #jdmcar #164scalediecast by @scaledreams
