SCAMPI is a DnB-Fusion-band with 4 members, based in Berlin. Named after the yummy seafood, they are the very much ALIVE and kicking version of the crustacean. Fast drum grooves, heavy basslines, atmospheric synths, a warm guitarsound, enchanting vocals and a sampler, create a deep dnb-sound and a driving, lively, interactive live-experience, that is anything but your average dish!
SCAMPI was founded in 2024 with the idea of bringing drum and bass to the stage as a live band. They quickly gained a foothold in Berlin’s subculture scene. After a successful opening set for Purple Palace at Madame Claude, they moved from venue to venue. Highlights included a series of self-organized jam sessions and
gigs in Berlin’s parks and clubs, which fostered a lively, dance-loving community. This community also includes musician friends who regularly join them as live guests. In addition to solo parties and self- organized performances, SCAMPI also played at Brainbowl Records, Flightmode, the Klingt Jut Festival, and the Solidarity and Resistance Camp. by @scampiband
