Voila! My mural is (98%) complete! I’ve included different lighting shots, progress shots, and the awkward, yet necessary pictures of me posing with my baby. 😋

When starting this mural I had several goals. The obvious one was to beautify a once boring wall. The second, perhaps more important one, was to get back into the habit of committing to larger, often more time consuming projects. With the urgency of social media, I’ve found myself shying away from projects that are more of a long-term commitment. It’s made me question how I’ve unknowingly put limits on my work, as well as myself. I’m proud of myself for seeing this through to its completion , and am excited to see what’s in store for me next.

For those who don’t know (I just found out the other week) ACEOS are basically collectible trading cards you can collect by artists. Each is an original piece of art that is small enough to fit in your pocket. It’s a cool thing for artists and collectors alike because the smaller size allows the art to be more affordable without the artist having to undervalue their work. These are listed through the link on my bio!

If I sound like I’m reading off of a script, it’s because I 100% am 😅. Videos and self promotion aren’t my forte but time & time again, I hear that to sell my art, I need to become more visible online. This is the first step. Stay tuned for shop updates and more 🙂 #artistsoninstagram #whimsicalartist by @scampscribbles

Eclipse Pocket Trinket inspired by this year’s Solar Eclipse in Leo 🔄 Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. It’s been a doozy and I’m looking forwards to its fruition.

I chose the Three Hares symbol to illustrate my message because it exemplifies how an image can be so powerful, that it can replicate itself worldwide, despite cultural or lingual barriers. This is the power of art, found only through human connection; something that robots can and will never be able to replicate.

Even if you put my feelings regarding Genai’s cheap imitation of human ingenuity to the side, it’s also horrible for the planet and looking to tear apart communities and drain our already scarce natural resources for its “data centers”. I don’t understand how anyone is in support of this, unless they’re one of the selfish few who will monetize off of it, while they watch as the rest of the world burns.

DISBAND DATA CENTERS !

(And yes, no matter how rudimentary, that is Sam Altman’s head because fuck that guy. Seriously. )

Recently, I had the privilege of crafting a memoriam of Holly & Leif, two bunnies who were, and are loved very much. I really love creating pet portraits because there is a love so pure and innocent that people have for their furry, feathered, or scaly companions. I was so lucky to have the best patron in the world, @piperthebunny_ assign me with this quest 😊

As a reminder, I take commissions for pet (or animal) fluff sculptures through my Etsy- link is in bio!
