HAPPY THANKSGIVING THUNDER NATION!

To all our Scarborough Thunder families and friends, we wish you a blessed and beautiful Thanksgiving!

Today, we’re reminded of just how much we have to be grateful and thankful for, our families, our friendships, our health, our community, and the incredible Thunder family that continues to grow stronger together. We’re thankful for every player, parent, coach, volunteer, alumnus, and supporter who has been part of our journey.

Scarborough Thunder is more than football. We’re a family built on love, commitment, brotherhood, sisterhood, and giving back to our community. We’re grateful for every memory made, every life impacted, and every young person we’ve had the privilege to encourage and inspire.

May your homes be filled with love, your tables with good food, and your hearts with gratitude. Enjoy this special time with the people who mean the most to you.

Once a Thunder, Always a Thunder! ⚡🏈

🏈💜💙 GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL FRIENDLY 💜💙🏈

It was great to welcome DawkSports @dawksports Girls Flag to Scarborough as they made the trip to take on Scarborough Thunder Girls Flag in a friendly matchup!

A great day of competition, teamwork, development, and, most importantly, building relationships through the game we love.

Thank you to DawkSports for making the trip and helping us continue to grow and develop girls! taken in Mary Ward Catholic Secondary School by @scarborothunder

Thank you to the @torontoargos, @footballontario_ and @football.toronto for the incredible recognition. I’m truly grateful and humbled. Having my family (missing one) and my Scarborough Thunder family there with me today meant more than words can express. Sharing such a special moment surrounded by the people who have supported, believed in, and walked this journey with me made it even more meaningful.

But the truth is, I never got into this for recognition. I believe this is my calling. My purpose has always been to inspire, guide, encourage, and pour into the next generation, to help young people believe in themselves, dream bigger, and understand that their circumstances do not have to define their future.

As the great Ted Ginn Sr. says, "you have to teach kids to dream big. When you impact one or two, they can go on to impact others. They graduate, go to university/and or college, enter the workforce, build families, and create their own impact. That’s how you change the world."

His words speak directly to my heart because that’s what this journey has always been about for me, impact!

It’s not about how many trophies are on the shelf, how many people know your name, or how much recognition you receive. It’s about the lives you touch. It’s about the kid who needed someone to believe in them. The young person who needed guidance. The athlete who needed someone to say, “You can do this.” The student who needed someone to remind them that their future is bigger than their present circumstances.

If I can help one young person dream bigger, believe stronger, work harder, and become the best version of themselves, then I’ve done what I was called to do. And if that one person goes on to impact someone else, the cycle continues.

That’s how we change lives. That’s how we change communities. That’s how we change the world.

I don’t take this responsibility lightly. This isn’t just something I do, it’s my purpose, my calling, and my duty.

As long as God gives me the strength, I’ll continue to serve, guide, mentor, coach, and pour into our youth.

Because every day I get the opportunity to impact a young person, I’m winning, and I never lose. taken in BMO Field by @scarborothunder
