Why do I support the LGBTQIA+ community, furries, therians, and so many other communities?

Because I know what it feels like to feel alone.

I know what it feels like to wonder if anybody actually sees you, accepts you, or cares that you are here.

That is why I made a promise to myself and to this community.

No matter how big this platform gets, I will always use my voice to remind people that they deserve to exist exactly as they are.

Be LGBTQIA+. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Be furry.
Be therian.
Be different.
Be yourself.

You are welcome here.

You are family here.

I do not care if this page has one thousand followers or four million followers someday. The number will never matter more than the people behind it.

Someone asked if I support people “aggressively demanding pronouns.”

I support respecting people.

If someone tells you their pronouns, use them. It really is that simple. Respecting someone’s pronouns is not complicated, and it should not be controversial.

Trans people and LGBTQIA people deserve the same basic dignity and respect as everyone else.

You do not have to understand every part of someone’s identity to treat them like a human being.

In Noodle Nation, people are going to be seen, respected, and welcomed for who they are. ❤️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

I lost a follower for supporting trans people and the furry community, and I’m completely okay with that.

ScaredAndClueless and Noodle Nation were never built around excluding people. This community is about kindness, acceptance, LGBTQIA support, trans support, furries, gamers, creators, and anyone who has ever felt like they did not belong somewhere.

You do not have to understand someone’s identity or community to treat them with respect.

If supporting trans people, LGBTQIA people, furries, and other communities makes me weird, then I’ll wear that proudly.

I would rather lose followers for standing up for people than gain followers by staying silent.

You are welcome here. You are valid here. You belong here. ❤️

William Dorsey Swann was born into slavery and later became one of the earliest documented people in America to organize drag gatherings and call himself the Queen.

In the 1880s.

More than 130 years ago.

Queer people are not new.

Drag is not new.

Our history did not begin recently. It has always been here, even when people tried to erase it, hide it, or pretend it never existed.

The closer Midwest FurFest gets, the more excited I get... and the more nervous I get too 😂

LGBTQ+ people are not new.

We have always been here. In art, science, war, activism, literature, families, communities, and every part of history.

A lot of those stories just never made it into the classroom.

Anyway, trans people deserve to feel safe, loved, respected, and supported. LGBTQ+ people deserve the same.
