Help us help you! In order to keep our board games we have introduced some measures which we would greatly appreciate being respected when you visit, general rules are listed to the side but in addition to these we have a few demo videos showing how our games are organised (anything without a label can be placed in the middle; pucket, jenga, etc.) and where on the box you can find the sticker indicating where they can be returned to. We also understand that some games have quite a few fiddly bits and as such we have small bowls to the side for you to place them in. We take great pride in providing this service for free and would love if our advice can be taken so we can continue to do so in future ❤️ Diolch !

Sketching on my break at work - then decided to tidy it up 🤩

Nice to sketch some of the great regulars, and add a few people in here and there- so see if you can spot yourself 🤨

Should I turn some of these into prints? 🧐 by @scaredycatscafebar

Thanks to everyone who came along to @matsudairamen this week and the lovely staff there - it was a really good night.

Next up we are at @scaredycatscafebar from 5pm on Fri 30th and Sat 31st for our last set menu of the year: A seasonal vegan feast featuring local produce and flavours from the New World.

A few spaces left on the Friday and plenty on the Saturday but don’t sleep on it. Email herbivorecdf@gmail.com to book a place. by @scaredycatscafebar

🚨APPLICATIONS CLOSED!🚨
We’ve had an absolutely overwhelming response with over 400 applications for just 1 position! Unfortunately we won’t be able to respond to everyone individually - please know it’s nothing personal, and we are so grateful to everyone who took the time to apply 🙏🏼🙀

WE’RE HIRING! ☕️✨🍹

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, reliable Bartender / Barista to join our small, hardworking team! If you take pride in your service skills, creating a welcoming atmosphere and want to make tasty drinks, we’d love to hear from you!

💰 Pay: £13.45 p/h (with an increase in due course to remain aligned with Real Living Wage)
⏰ Hours: ~28 - 38 hrs p/w (4 - 5 shifts, with occasional extra hours during peak times)
📆 Availability: Evenings, Weekends & Holidays required (especially with Christmas round the corner!)

What you’ll be doing:
✨ Serving specialty coffee, craft beer, cocktails & snacks
✨ Keeping shifts running smoothly
✨ Help curate and launch seasonal drink menus!
✨ Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic workspace (getting stuck into deep cleans as much as serving drinks!).
✨ Bringing great energy and making our customers feel right at home

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Previous café, bar, or restaurant experience (barista experience preferred)
✔️ Hands on experience (or a solid foundation) in specialty coffee, craft beer, or cocktails
✔️ Strong communication skills, high reliability and a love for hospitality!
(Full training on our setup & menu will be provided!)

START DATE: WEEK OF 16th NOVEMBER

A morning spent doing autumn window designs for @scaredycatscafebar, means it was a good day 🎃

Love doing these windows every season, it gives the place such a nice feeling. Most of all, it’s great to just be fully creative with these designs and hide as many Easter eggs as I can 🤓

Can you spot a @sparrowcardiff? 🤨
And always a nod to @dirtsugarriot 🔥

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat, makes the job even better 🔥 by @scaredycatscafebar
