I needed an average for the autocross challenge series so I went to the Touge event today. One hell of a qualifying battle with @tang_s550 where I was able to squeeze out a slight victory(0.285 seconds). Then came the touge battle… it was close between tang_s550 and I. It was a seriously fun battle and I happened to come out on top. But it was one of those battles where you didn’t really care who won because you had a lot of fun. Thank you @corner_exit for the enjoyable event.
And thanks to @mountainskunkworks for giving me a car that is so competitive. taken in Apple Valley Speedway by @scargoes

Car spotting while on a road trip. I don’t normally do this stuff unless it’s a really unique car, but I know this guy!!! Just a fluke gas station meeting while on 2 totally different paths. Good luck and drive safe Edwin. by @scargoes

Major shout out to the guys at #mountainskunkworks for prepping such an awesome car. Huge props to you!! Day one at #lonepinetimetrials started a bit rough but things got moving well. In our run group my co driver hit a rock and damaged the splitter and then part of the rock got stuck between the wheel and the strut causing damage to the wheel. Mid run group wheel change and we were back in action.

Since the damage was done, i sent it. Not too hard, but just hard enough to take TTOD Raw and Pax with a 110.8 run. Backed it up with a 110.2, but hit a cone that run. I’m told that this is a new record for the course. So happy with how the car drove. Thank you again guys, @mountainskunkworks , you rock!!!

Now I hope I didn’t jinx day two. lol. Let’s get to it and have some fun. We did throw some gorilla tape on the splitter, not pretty but it should help keep it together.

That’s it! I’m done for the day. Feeling tired. Got some good laps in and this was the best I got. So close to a 1:29, yet so far away. Next time…

But it ain’t too shabby for a sub 300whp 3200lb car on a big HP track. I’m happy with it.

Wow! Gotta say it was a fun day getting acquainted with this little beast today. So pretty and easy to drive at the limit. Still needs more power, doesn’t everything? But thank you @mountainskunkworks for all the hard work put into this beauty.

I also want to thank @alltimeracing @timswestcoastphotos and @rbistagne for a wonderful track day. Beautiful weather, awesome track, and friends make for the best days. by @scargoes
