I can’t colour inside the lines. Never could. Not starting now.
Handing some pages to the grandchildren. They’ll “help.”
Keeping a couple for friends who need the pep talk like I do.
Launch price now, so check it out
Who in your life needs “Make It Happen” taped to their fridge?

Say It in Color, lo nuevo de mi amiga Scarlet Destiny Official.

Vintage does not need to be reserved for museums, collectors or major fashion moments.

Wear it to dinner. Wear it to work. Wear it on the school run. Wear it while drinking coffee somewhere that definitely does not have a step-and-repeat.

The real power of vintage isn’t simply that it has history. It’s that you get to give it another chapter, styled your way, in your actual life.

So wear the piece. Even if the occasion is simply: I felt like it.

Where would you wear your favourite vintage find?

Suddenly, the jumpers that kept you perfectly warm last year have apparently committed a fashion crime.

Every autumn, we’re encouraged to believe that the clothes we already own are no longer quite right. The colour has changed, the shape has changed, the “essential” knit of the season is different from the essential knit we were sold twelve months ago.

But your wardrobe does not expire because the trend cycle has moved on.

Wear the jumper. Style it differently if you fancy a change. Layer it, customise it, repair it, or simply enjoy it exactly as it is.

Personal style was never supposed to come with a seasonal replacement schedule.

Which old favourite are you bringing back this autumn?

The boldest shows at Paris Fashion Week explored power in very different forms...

At Givenchy, Sarah Burton translated couture precision into a modern, everyday wardrobe. Oversized coats, sculptural dresses and softly rounded tailoring met sharp shirts, fluid trousers and unexpected cut-outs. Refined but never restrained, it was the tailoring that truly commanded attention. What a powerhouse!

At Saint Laurent, Anthony Vaccarello marked ten years at the house with what would become his final collection for the brand. Beneath the Eiffel Tower, gold dominated the runway through sparkling skirts, satin tailoring, liquid lamé and burnished animal prints.

Then came the black... A procession of dramatic evening looks brought an emotional close to a decade that helped define the modern Saint Laurent woman: controlled, sensual and completely self-assured.

Zimmermann offered a softer kind of strength. Inspired by the resilience of the butterfly, Nicky Zimmermann balanced floaty dresses, delicate lace and intricate appliqué with oversized jackets, relaxed denim and utility-inspired pieces. Butter yellow, pale blue and soft pink brought the romance, but it was the contrast between ethereal dresses and tougher outerwear that made the collection feel fresh.

Three different visions of femininity... Precision at Givenchy, seduction and spectacle at Saint Laurent, romance with resilience at Zimmermann.

Paris reminded us that powerful fashion doesn’t have to speak in one voice. Which SS27 collection stood out to you?

Designers featured: @givenchy, @yvessaintlaurent and @zimmermann

Fashion doesn’t change in isolation.

Some of the most interesting conversations around sustainability, circularity and fashion policy are happening inside communities where people share knowledge, challenge assumptions and ask better questions.

Whether you’re a founder, designer, student or simply curious about where fashion is heading, finding your people matters. No one person has all the answers, and frankly, fashion has enough silos already.

Sharing knowledge is how industries move forward.

I’ve shared some sustainable fashion communities worth knowing in this reel.

Know another brilliant one? Add it below so we can all discover it.

We often hear the same advice:

“Just recycle your clothes.”

If only it were that simple.

There isn’t one universal clothing recycling system. There are multiple technologies, each with different strengths, limitations and material requirements.

Some work best with cotton-rich textiles, others with polyester-rich materials. Some break fibres down into their chemical building blocks, while others mechanically shred or reprocess them.

And therein lies one of the biggest problems: modern clothing was rarely designed to be recycled in the first place.

Mixed fibres, coatings, trims and synthetic blends can make today’s garments incredibly difficult to process at scale.

That’s why circular fashion has to begin long before something reaches a recycling bin. It starts at the design stage: choosing materials more carefully and considering how a garment can eventually be disassembled, recovered and used again.

Recycling matters. But designing out the problem matters more.

If we could redesign clothing from scratch, what would you change first?

The boldest shows at Milan Fashion Week didn’t reject the past... They found new ways to use it.

At @prada, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons took one of fashion’s most familiar garments and asked how many different identities it could hold. Pleats, sheer layers, sculptural shapes, florals and crystal embellishment transformed the skirt into something endlessly adaptable, styled with everything from simple bralettes and knits to oversized outerwear.

At @gucci, Demna transformed a Milan convention centre into a fully functioning boutique. Narrow 1990s tailoring, polished Milanese dressing, equestrian references and youthful streetwear met recognisable house codes, from Horsebit loafers to oversized eyewear and statement bags. Bourgeois elegance collided with after-dark glamour in a vision that felt confident, eclectic and unmistakably Gucci.

Meanwhile, @TheAttico celebrated its tenth anniversary by taking the audience somewhere more intimate. Among beds, tangled sheets and flashes of cabaret lighting, the collection explored the private and secret versions of ourselves that emerge when nobody is watching. Slinky dresses, sharp tailoring, velvet and unapologetic partywear revisited the brand’s history without becoming trapped by it.

Milan’s message was clear: heritage is most powerful when it remains open to reinvention.

Which SS27 show stood out to you?

October does not need to arrive with a shopping list.

A change of season can simply be an invitation to slow down, revisit what we already love and make more room for what inspires us.

Wear the favourite outfit again. Pick up the book you never finished. Make something imperfect. Follow your curiosity somewhere unexpected. Take a walk without turning it into a productivity challenge.

Not every new chapter requires a new wardrobe, a new routine or a reinvented version of yourself.

Sometimes buying less gives us more space to actually live.

What are you making more room for this October?

The boldest shows at London Fashion Week didn’t settle for a single world.

They created collisions.

For its return to London after 25 years on the Paris schedule, @alexandermcqueen brought religious portraiture into conversation with rave culture. Soft medieval palettes met acid florals and vivid neon, while smoked tulle, organza and sharply constructed tailoring moved between reverence and rebellion.

At @chopovalowena, a bowling alley became the meeting point for Slavic folklore and 1950s Americana. Pagan witches, evil mermaids and vampires appeared alongside house dresses, bowling shirts and exaggerated skirts, finished with the dense ruffles, embroidery and gloriously unexpected fabric combinations that define the brand’s world.

@susanfangofficial transformed the Barbican’s brutalist lakeside courtyard into something softer and more dreamlike. Qinghua porcelain, pixelated florals, translucent beading and fluttering appliqué petals explored the meeting point between heritage and technology—while sequinned water shoes, 3D-printed flip-flops and rubber-flower heels brought an eccentric edge.

Three very different collections.

But each understood that London fashion is at its strongest when seemingly incompatible references are allowed to exist together.

Sacred and subversive.

Folklore and pop culture.

Craftsmanship and technology.

Fantasy and everyday life.

London has always found beauty in contradiction.

Which SS27 collection created the most memorable world for you?

This is probably one of the hardest lessons I've learnt.

Many sustainable founders I've met didn't start businesses simply to make money.

They start because they genuinely want to change the fashion industry.

I completely understand that.

But sustainability isn't always the first thing that makes someone fall in love with a product.
They're searching for something that makes them feel confident, beautiful or excited.

They buy emotion first.

The mission comes later.

That's why the brands that thrive don't just tell people they're sustainable.

They create products people desperately want. They create products people genuinely want.

Then they reveal why they were made differently.

Purpose matters.

But desire is what gets people through the door.

Do you agree?

Or do you think sustainability should always be the headline? by @scarletdestiny_official
