Yesterday this precious soul turned 13.. an official teenager!! Preslie is such a fun, determined , social, loves Jesus, cares about others, perfectionist, incredible girl!! She’s my first to turn 13 but I feel like she has been in the teens for atleast a year.. she’s always kept up with her sisters and in some ways that’s been a gift and in others I wish I could remember to not expect her to be older than she is.. she was the baby who has turned into a middle but she will always be the baby girl of the house.. she is so so very loved by all of us.. we will be really celebrating her in a few weeks.. I’m so so thankful for Preslie Blythe!! by @scarruth46

Yesterday was 2 years.. 2 years from the words it’s cancer.. it’s the best one to have .. breast cancer stage 1 er+,pr+ HER-.. it’s a strange day.. in a way that day wasn’t the big deal.. nothing really happened I did not comprehend what all would happen.. I knew cancer I knew I’m going to be ok.. I knew the hardest part would be telling my kids.. but these pic represent my year.. lots of surgery.. lots of friends .. lots of support.. and my kids being incredible and my husband being my backbone.. my sister and mom giving so much of their time to come be mom at my house … but it was in year 2 that other changes happened.. I really began to process year 1.. that little er+ I realized was a bigger deal than I understood in the beginning .. I am cancer free and so very thankful but it is def still apart of my every day.. so much of me has changed and grown in 2 years.. my family has changed and grown.. my circle in some ways has grown smaller and in some ways has grown so much stronger.. people have come into my life and I can’t believe our relationship is only 2 yrs old bc they have become my people .. I like to sit with this day bc I can see the goodness of God I see his hand and I appreciate so many people and I remember when I’m tired or not feeling like my old self there is a reason and it doesn’t define me but also it is real.. these pic represent so much of that year for me.. there are also so many in my camera roll that can’t be on fb/instagram but tell my story and I’m thankful for the pic I’m thankful for these 2 years .. get your mammogram.. do self checks it saves lives @tom_carruth by @scarruth46
