20 years ago I picked Brazil to win the 2002 fifa world cup and Ronaldo from Brazil to be the top goal scorer. I was told I was crazy as Ronaldo had hardly played in 3 years due to a serious knee injury that almost ended his career.

Well 20 years ago today the Phenomenon proved me right as he would score 2 goals in the final against Germany to lead Brazil to a record fifth world cup, be the tournaments top goal scorer with 8 goals and go onto re-establish himself as the best player in the world.

I think it is one of the greatest comebacks in sports history.

Will never forget the day you retired with Glenn McGrath at the SCG which happened to be on my 14th birthday, after we smashed the poms 5 nil and reclaimed the Ashes. I had the best childhood as a aussie kid watching you and the Australian cricket team dominate the world throughout your career. by @scarruthers93

R.I.P Brian Watson. So sad to hear the news of your passing today. One of the finest gentlemen I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Brian you where the heart and soul of Harbord Bowling Club Cricket Club. Always enjoyed the chance to catch up for a beer and a yarn down at the cricket and bowling club. Who could ever forget the famous last game you umpired (pictured here) back in the 2014 1st grade grand final, which we now refer to as THE 14! Was so honoured to had played in that game knowing it was your last and what a memorable game it turned out to be!! Thank you Watto for everything you have done for the mighty HBCCC!!! Your memory will live on forever at the Club and will have a few schooners for you with the rest of the boys on the weekend. My condolences to the entire Watson family. That's a wrap!! After nearly 40 years, the famous Bombshelter bar has closed for the final time for Contiki as the company has decided to end there trips here after this season in Lauterbrunnen. Thankyou to the bar boys Phil and Carl for taking care of as all season. One year ago I was a traveler here and never would have imagined that I would be here working as as part of the last on site team in the 50 plus years that Contiki have been operating at the campsite. taken in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland by @scarruthers93

One year ago today my Contiki journey started. 25 days on the piss with a bunch of other piss heads. Never would of thought that a year later and I would end up working as a contiki on site!! Crazy how things work out.
