When it comes to evangelism, we have the temptation to look at somebody and try to minister to them where we think they’re at, rather than individualizing the person. There’s a way to individualize them, even if you have preconceived notions about the world they come from.

The gospel doesn’t change, but how we apply it needs to shifts.

Don’t compare your walk with Jesus with others - it will rob you of your joy. On Judgment Day, He will ask what you did with the gifts and assignments he gave YOU, not anybody else. What benefit do you gain my minding other people’s business?

Also somebody tell me how many times I said, “run your race.” I don’t think I said it enough.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” Hebrews 12:1-2

When it comes to discipleship, quality will ALWAYS be greater than quantity.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..” Matthew 28:19-20

“The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away…[b]ut the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” Matthew 13:20-21,23

Grateful that He doesn’t give us more than we can handle. That doesn’t mean there won’t be times of tension or pressure. But even if there is, we can rejoice in knowing that it allows us to become more dependent on Him, thus letting His grace help us grow and become all that He has called us to be.

Summer ’26. LA, CA. A season that I’ll remember it for the rest of my life and, I imagine, the one to come.

A season where God healed me through His children. People I lived life with who made mine fuller and more abundant in ways I couldn’t have imagined nor dreamed of.

People who helped reset and reshape my nervous system.
People who reaffirmed that I didn’t need to entertain the thoughts of putting on a mask, over-explain myself or put my guards up.
People who introduced me to greater joy where there were pieces of sorrow, deeper peace where there were bouts of anxiety and a larger capacity to receive His Love where there was crippling fear.
People who encouraged me to tap into my child-like playfulness and dive into creative wonder.
People who challenged me to move forward, when I was tempted to run backwards.
People who spoke life where there was once death and whose words healed parts of my heart that was broken.
People who God entrusted to steward my presence and personhood with His Love and care.
People who felt like home and, as a result, are now just that.

My only regret is not getting pictures with additional newfound friends and established ones who aren’t seen above.

Summer ’26. LA, CA. A season I’ll remember for the rest of my life and, I imagine, the one to come.

It left an eternal impact on my heart and I’m still eating off of its long-lasting fruit.

My heart grieved that it ended, but my spirit rejoices because it happened. And I’m better because of it 💙
