Your 2025-2026 Southern Connecticut Conference Commissioner’s Cup Champions!

Mercy High School!

Last night, SCC Commissioner Al Carbone revealed that Mercy completed another historic athletic year by winning the first Commissioner’s Cup!

The Cup, which is presented by the league’s corporate sponsor, BSN Sports, celebrates the strongest overall athletic performance across all sanctioned sports and is awarded based on points given out for final regular season standings, SCC postseason finishes, and state and runner-up finishes.

After winning four league titles (Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, and Soccer) and two state titles (Cross Country and Indoor Track and Field) this school year, Mercy beat out Amity High School of Woodbridge, Cheshire, Daniel Hand, and Guilford for the title.

Along with league titles in Cross Country, Soccer and Track and Field, Mercy was a runner-up in golf and reached the semifinals in basketball and softball.

Over the last three years, Mercy has won five state titles and eight SCC championships for one of the most successful runs in school history!

Congratulations to all our teams, athletes, and coaches who helped contribute to this honor and thank you to the SCC for once again creating the best experience for all our teams!
