Thankful to capture this beautiful wedding for @miss_melinapro! The theme was perfect, the people were awesome, and the wedding venue was fantastic. I hope you two live a long happy marriage and always keep that spunk alive.

Shoutout to Javier from @dfiestainc for being an awesome DJ, too!

@rprtexas will be missed, all the great times out there sending the jumps, rolling the slabs, and just bombing down the best chuck trails in central Texas. It's sad to see them close the doors to day use and camping.

You'll always keep a place on my list of best trail system, bonus being able to camp there was awesome too for those 2d mtb weekends. Dark skies, milky way, shooting stars.

7 days is not enough time to fully appreciate the beauty of this island. Fully immersed on day one, with jam packed action every single day it was just non-stop activity. The next trip will need to be 9d minimum, maybe even 12 days or more to be able to travel some of the more remote places.

Here is a quick compilation of the videos I took of some of the best spots we saw, photos are going to be trickling out in the next few weeks, and some more videos as well.

Enjoy!

Another one from Death Valley, the Flame Star Nebula! this one should have turned out better, however my mount produced quite a bit of periodic error this night and i was only able to stack ~60% of my total subs. ill have to try this one again next year when i get a true astrophotography camera!

my 3rd and best acquisition of the Rosette Nebula! shot outside of death valley and a new moon, with a total of 1hr 15min of exposure time on my Sony A7RIII and FRA300 scope, unguided.

To celebrate the last work trip of the year, i present the California Nebula as taken in California Mojave desert, from a Bortle 2.7 sky! The night was a new moon, near perfect conditions aside from some wind gusts every now and then. almost screwed myself with IBIS enabled in my camera body, but still ended up with a total of 55min of exposure.

i miss the easy access of dark skies, the best i can get in a 2hr radius is Bortle 4, which isnt terrible but compared to <3? it stands no chance.

Here it is, Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon!

it took many hours to get my first stack presentable, i have 1 additional night to go through as well in hopes that i can refine the processing and really bring out the comet ion tail even more! shot on 10-23-25 in Bortle 4/5 skies with my Sony A7RIII on the Sony 70-200mm GMII at 200mm (cropped to ~400mm)

Its been awhile since my last post, gearing up for more astrophotography this season. Lets start it off with a 1hr exposure (76x45s subs) of the North America Nebula, NGC 7000! learning some new processes to better control how the image comes out, somewhat limited with my current equipment but i can still produce some usable data.
