The Powerpuff Girls Face Their First Christmas Without Professor Utonium

For the first time, Christmas arrives without Professor Utonium by the Powerpuff Girls’ side. For longtime fans who grew up watching Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup protect Townsville, the thought of the girls facing the holidays without their beloved father figure carries a completely different emotional weight.

Professor Utonium wasn’t just the scientist who accidentally created the Powerpuff Girls using sugar, spice, everything nice, and Chemical X. He was their dad—the person who gave them a home, guidance, and a family beyond their superhero lives.

For a generation raised on The Powerpuff Girls, Christmas in Townsville may never feel quite the same.

What’s your favorite Professor Utonium moment from the series? Let me know in the comments.

Chris Rock Family Feud?

Tony Rock says he’s only asked his older brother Chris Rock for five favors in his entire life—and every single time, the answer was no.

During an appearance on The Green Room, Tony explained why fans haven’t seen him in more of Chris Rock’s movies. He recalled Chris personally telling him he had a role for him in Top Five, even assuring Tony that he wouldn’t need to audition.

Tony was ecstatic. The movie was shooting in New York, and he told his management and agency to be ready to pause his comedy tour the moment Chris called.

But that call never came.

Instead, Tony began hearing from friends who were already working on the movie. Weeks turned into months, and eventually he received a call asking if he was coming to the wrap party.

Tony admitted the experience devastated him, especially after believing he was finally going to work alongside his brother.

What do you think about Tony Rock’s story and Chris Rock never calling him for Top Five? Let me know in the comments.

Arnold Schwarzenegger had 2 women pregnant at the same time?

While Arnold Schwarzenegger was filming Batman & Robin in late 1996, an extraordinary chapter of his personal life was unfolding behind the scenes.

At nearly the same time, Schwarzenegger’s wife, Maria Shriver, and the family’s longtime housekeeper, Mildred Baena, became pregnant with his sons. Christopher Schwarzenegger was born on September 27, 1997. Just five days later, on October 2, Joseph Baena was born.

Schwarzenegger later confirmed that his affair with Baena took place in 1996, meaning the situation unfolded during the same era in which he was transforming into Mr. Freeze for Batman & Robin.

It’s a remarkable piece of Arnold Schwarzenegger history that connects one of his most infamous movie roles with one of the biggest revelations of his personal life.

What do you remember most about Arnold’s Batman & Robin era? Let me know in the comments.

Mike Tyson Confronts Man With a Gun

Rosie Perez nearly had her shoulder dislocated while reminding Mike Tyson about a wild nightclub story he clearly had no memory of. Watching Tyson hear the story for what looks like the first time makes the moment even better.

Perez recalled being at the Red Zone when a man allegedly pulled a gun on her sister Sally after she refused to dance with him. Not knowing what else to do, Rosie spotted Mike Tyson upstairs and immediately thought, “Get Mike Tyson.”

She rushed over, told Tyson what was happening, and says his response was simply, “Let me go talk to him.” According to Rosie, Tyson walked straight down toward the armed man and confronted him without hesitation.

The funniest part is Mike Tyson sitting there listening as Rosie recreates the entire encounter, seemingly discovering a forgotten chapter of his own life in real time.

Would you trust Mike Tyson to handle a situation like this? Let me know in the comments.

Eddie Murphy Said NO to Cocaine With Robin Williams and John Belushi

At just 19 years old, Eddie Murphy was the newest cast member on Saturday Night Live when he found himself hanging out with John Belushi and Robin Williams as they did cocaine. When they offered him some, Eddie simply said no.

Murphy later explained that it wasn't a moral stance—he just had no interest or curiosity. Looking back, he described that moment as "providence," believing God was looking over him.

The story carries even more weight knowing what happened later. John Belushi died from a drug overdose on March 5, 1982, while Robin Williams died by suicide on August 11, 2014.

Years later, Matthew Lawrence shared another powerful memory involving Williams while filming Mrs. Doubtfire. Lawrence recalled finding Robin alone in his dressing room struggling with his thoughts. According to Lawrence, Williams opened up about having previously lived on cocaine for five years and believed that period had permanently affected his brain, relationships, career, and ability to enjoy time with his family.

Hearing those words directly from someone he admired had a lasting impact on Lawrence. He said that conversation convinced him he never wanted to touch cocaine.

Two very different stories involving Robin Williams, but both serve as a powerful reminder of how one decision can shape a life.

What do you think about Eddie Murphy's decision at just 19 years old? Let me know in the comments.

This Vacation Age Fact Is Going to Make ’80s Kids Feel Ancient

Here’s an age fact that might ruin your day: if you were born before 1986, you’re now older than Clark Griswold was in National Lampoon’s Vacation.

For anyone who grew up watching Clark Griswold take his family on the unforgettable road trip to Walley World, that realization hits a little differently. The character we remember as the stressed-out family dad somehow doesn’t seem nearly as old once you reach that age yourself.

National Lampoon’s Vacation remains one of the most iconic comedy movies of the ’80s, and facts like this are a brutal reminder of just how much time has passed.

Did this Clark Griswold age comparison make you feel old? Let me know in the comments.

Blockbuster’s Most Stolen Movie?

Grandma’s Boy is now a cult comedy classic, but Nick Swardson says he knew from the beginning it was going to bomb at the box office.

Even though the movie tested “through the roof,” Swardson believed the studio had no idea how to market such a weird comedy. Adam Sandler produced it but didn’t appear in the film, and at the time, stars like Nick Swardson and Jonah Hill were far from household names.

His prediction was right. Grandma’s Boy made only around $5 million in theaters, but Swardson says he also predicted what would happen next: once the movie hit DVD, it would explode.

According to Swardson, Grandma’s Boy eventually made over $100 million on DVD and became such a favorite that a former Blockbuster executive told him it was one of the company’s most stolen movies of all time because people simply never returned it.

From box office bomb to cult classic, Grandma’s Boy found its audience in a way nobody could have expected.

Did you own Grandma’s Boy on DVD, or were you one of the people who never returned it?

Before Timothée Chalamet became one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, he was already stealing the show at LaGuardia High School in New York City.

During LaGuardia High School’s 2012 Annual Rising Stars Student Showcase, Chalamet took the stage as his rap persona, Lil’ Timmy Tim. The performance had the crowd going wild as he delivered his unforgettable “Lil’ Timmy Tim chop” routine before closing out the showcase by shuffling to LMFAO.

The audience got so loud that the performers who followed could barely be heard over the excitement.

Long before his major film roles and worldwide fame, Timothée Chalamet was already showing the confidence, humor, and stage presence that would eventually make him a star.

The Mask That Inspired Ghostface?

Before Ghostface became one of horror’s most recognizable faces, there was the Peanut-Eyed Ghost.

This is an original mold of the novelty mask that helped inspire the iconic Ghostface look from Scream. Long before the mask became synonymous with the hit horror franchise, this eerie design already existed as a novelty Halloween mask.

For Scream fans, horror collectors, and anyone fascinated by the origins of famous movie props, this is a rare look at the design history behind one of cinema’s most recognizable killers.

Would you have recognized the connection to Ghostface? Let me know in the comments.

40-Foot Basketball Dunk?

In 1987, Showtime aired Ultimate Slam Dunk, featuring a ridiculous stunt designed to launch a man 40 feet into the air with a catapult in an attempt to complete the highest slam dunk ever recorded.

But before the launch even happened, viewers got something even better: Super Dave Osborne.

Played by Bob Einstein, Super Dave was a fictional stuntman whose outrageous stunts throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s were built around one thing — making people laugh. No matter how dangerous or impossible the stunt looked, Super Dave somehow always lived to tell the story.

He even once fell from the CN Tower in Toronto and got back up like nothing happened. Dominic Toretto would be proud.

“Super Dave, are you alright?”

“Oh yeah, John, I’m just fine.”

If you remember Super Dave Osborne and his completely ridiculous stunts, let me know your favorite one in the comments.
