Happy national fragrance day to my fellow frag head.

I thought it would be a lovely way to celebrate today’s special day by sharing some knowledge that is quite useful to everyone. I am sure that we have all experienced what I call fragrance disappointment. Imagine smelling a fragrance in store and being so moved by it you purchase it on the spot … before getting home & opening it … in some cases it could even be months or weeks later. ONLY TO FIND OUT SOMETHING IS DIFFERENT. 🥲

for individuals that are knowledgeable about fragrances, wouldn’t know what to do in such a situation. However, the regular customer might not know as they would probably be confused as to what did issue is.

So let me share some knowledge with you all today, so that I can help you for future references. There may be times where you may be looking for fragrance and you finally find it. However it’s not quite what you remember it to be. Reformulation is what you need to remember this is quite common & has happened with many fragrances.

I would use @checkfresh website to help you find older batches of bottles especially if you are looking for something that reminds you of someone special, or a memory!

Tip; always check the bottles you sample in store versus the one you have paid for, as you would find that you have been given a newer bottle that has recently been made, whereas in store you may have tested out an older batch.

HOW I LAYER MY FRAGRANCES!

Well I mean OVERSPRAY. I can’t remember the last time I have gone out & used one fragrance. It seems so foreign to me.

I go overboard because I don’t like people being able to detect what I am wearing 🤭 I also like having fun thinking about what works with my outfit, my mood & the weather. But one thing that is ALWAYS incorporated is OUD!

I also get paranoid that people can’t smell my fragrance as I go nose blind after a while. So I have to play it safe 🤷🏽‍♀️

When layering don’t over think things, go with the flow. Experiment before you find your combo.

Hello everyone, if you know me you know I do not use one fragrance I don’t even use 2. I go the extra mile to ensure that people cannot detect my fragrances and now I feel like I’m just used to it. 🥹.

so I will be teaching you how to layer fragrances without you, thinking too much about it. In this video, I have done a talk through as to how I have layered my fragrances, and why I have chosen to layer it in this particular way. I will be doing more layer of videos and explaining the combinations and why they work together.

I’ve been fascinated by fragrance for over two decades, and somewhere along the way, that fascination turned into a full-blown obsession.

People often ask why I’m so passionate about perfume, and my answer is always the same: fragrance is deeply personal.
