Breaking in the new Bronco, Nancy, the dogs and I are on a run from Nashville to Boston. Tonight’s stop the 265 acre, reimagined working farm, Goodstone Inn, hidden in a corner of the Virginia countryside. The Bronco doesn’t love fwy life, but it’s doing fine. #fordbronco #roadtrip #goodstoneinn #crosswindsaretricky by @schavez1441

Thinking about Dad today, on the seven year anniversary of his passing. I came across this picture of a picture, him at the wheel of his friend’s Ericson 33 (a boat I eventually bought), soon after the start of the Marina Del Rey to San Diego race. I am 100% positive my Dad is incredibly happy at this moment. This picture hung in his office for years. Miss you Dad, hope the breeze is up and the seas are flat wherever you may be. #missyoudad by @schavez1441

Here’s one for my car enthusiast friends. This is a 1972 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR, in-period upgrade, that my dear friend Erich Joiner and I found online 14 years (?) ago. He bought most of it, I bought a little bit of it. Its unique history, raced by two privateers in the 70’s and early 80’s, has been its hall pass to many exclusive vintage events, Erich at the wheel. Just the coolest car. #porsche #carrera #rsr #vintage #racing #greatmemories by @schavez1441

I figure it’s okay to post a pic of us on our honeymoon, cheat time a little (okay, in my case, a lot) in celebration of our 20 year anniversary. Thanks for sticking with the adventure 🍯🐰, I ❤️U! #happyanniversary #20years #somekindofrecord #losangelesdetroitlosangelestemeculanashville by @schavez1441
