This will be the last part of my Việt Nam in Infrared series for now, but I might share more pictures in color soon!

During our stay in the Ninh Binh region, just two hours south of Hanoi, we booked a day trip to capture as many sights as possible.
That day turned out to be the hottest of our entire trip with temperatures going into the 40s Celsius. I was drenched in sweat after climbing 600 steps to the Hang Mua viewpoint before we even had lunch. But it was totally worth it!

Karst mountains like these are found all over Southeast Asia, formed over thousands of years as water erodes and dissolves sedimentary rock like limestone. This results in massive sinkholes, vast caves and impressive rocky structures.
