Approaching the end of the annual Tour De Bronx at the New York Botanical Gardens, I saw my friend Erik standing in the rain with his camera ready. I pulled a can of beer out of my handlebar bag and the community affairs officer standing next to Erik started chanting "CHUG, CHUG, CHUG!"

Saturday 6/6/2026 Meet at Penn Station at 11 am. Over the Williamsburg Bridge and into Brooklyn for our first stop at the recently opened Eckhart Beer Company, then around the block to the always amazing KCBC. From there, it’s a short cruise over the Pulaski into Long Island City to everyone’s favorite NYC Marathon destination Fifth Hammer!
From there, it’s a short ride to subways or Grand Central to get back home. I’ll be getting picked up and will have room for possibly two passengers and their bikes, heading back east to the ‘burbs! @eckhartbeer @kcbcbeer @fifthhammerbeer @scheied #bikesandbeers #bikenyc #inebriatedpedalersassociation by @scheied

False spring really got me this year.

Hook, line, and sinker.

Snow days in New York are great when you don't have to be anywhere, or have anything to do. Today marks 20 years I've worked for an electrical utility company where it's exceedingly rare I don't have to go to work on a snow day. So if I can go out and play, I'll jump at the opportunity.

Any guesses on the PBH of the Home Depot Santa Claus? The standover on this bike is pretty crazy.

As much as I like visiting Connecticut for the rolling hills and beautiful autumnal scenery at the end of October, it's the people that I really love reconnecting with. Nutmeg Nor'Easter IX was no exception! It was great to see everyone and a pleasure to make new friends! Thanks again to @badd_buddhist and @ultraromance and their crew for making it happen!

Special thanks to @ericmarth and @gatesofhellphoto for the photos!

Heard there's gonna be a bike show at Nutmeg Nor'Easter this year, you'll know who to vote for best in show...
