Running 200km across the alps: My in-between sleeping spots 😅 (literally right next to the trail haha) … and please note the cake in my hands. I did never let go of my carbs haha

The North Face - That’s Why (Spec) • Sometimes all we have to do is step outside and start running.

Please enjoy this spec ad for @thenorthface directed by @paulbamberger, with trail runner @schenewa as talent.

Two days of shooting in rough elements certainly was demanding, but with the right crew, all can be accomplished.

Thanks to everyone involved.

Guuuuuys…. I gotta tell ya…. I didn’t expect to fall in love with this place this much haha The people welcomed me with so much warmth and so much kindness. Everyone I’ve met has been so lovely. It feels like being in a little nest where you can just feel at home.

Also… there’s the music - not only the Irish music but for some reason I always get to places here that play old school Rock’n’roll songs that I haven’t heard in years. So many moments when I thought “Wait - they r playing my playlist haha“ If you believe in signs - Ireland has given me a lot of them. 🥹

And also the connection people have with nature, the way they respect it, the wildlife, the deer I kept seeing everywhere… it all felt so close to my heart. It was just one of those trips that does something really good to your soul. 🥺🥺

And now… after spending so much time in the mountains, I’m in Dublin. A city that feels so vibrant, colourful, edgy, young and cool!!

Some places just feel right. And Ireland feels like one of them. Thank you @entdecke_irland for supporting me on this 🥹✨

Durchs herbstliche Farbenmeer laufen. Tiere beobachten. Entschleunigen.

Solche Orte erlebt man. :)

Danke @wagrainkleinarl - des war ganz besonders. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ♥️

Bright colours make you visible to rescue teams in emergencies. Blend in tones like green, grey and black etc.. can make you invisible. also a reminder to myself. Because I also tend to wear just black and white stuff. But when I filmed this I was like… yeah I really gotta wear more colours!!

DAV: „Choose bright colors for your mountain gear. In an emergency, contrast with the environment (snow, rock, or grass) is the key to being spotted quickly by organized rescue teams.“
