Those who knew Jimmy knew his love for sports, mostly his beloved Red Sox. Jimmy competed in multiple sports in his life for Parkway, Don Bosco, and later Framingham State University, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.

We can’t wait for everyone to come support and celebrate Jimmy’s legacy. Leaving it all on the field for the next generation of athletes!

We’re excited to invite you to the 1st Annual Jimmy Day, a special event honoring Jimmy through community, competition, and giving back.

Bring your family, friends, and teammates for a fun-filled Wiffleball Tournament, then join us afterward at the West Roxbury Elks for raffles, a silent auction, and an evening dedicated to celebrating Jimmy’s life and supporting our mission.

📅 Saturday, October 17, 2026 🕛 Tournament begins at 12:00 PM at the West Roxbury High School Complex 🎟️ Evening reception starts at 5:00 PM 💵 $25 donation requested at the door for the evening event for non players

⚾ Tournament registration closes September 7, 2026, or sooner if all team spots are filled—be sure to sign up early!

Whether you’re playing, cheering from the sidelines, or joining us for the evening, your support helps keep Jimmy’s legacy alive and strengthens our community.

We are very excited to announce our first ever Jimmy Day which will take place on October 17th!!!

Our first event will be a wiffle ball tournament from 12-4 and then the afters will take place at Elks Lodge in West Roxbury from 5-12 with food, drinks, raffles and auctions!

More information about sign ups and sponsors will be out in the future but we are very excited to be able to have this amazing celebration for Jimmy and all that he did for everyone around him! by @schindlerstrong
