NEW FLIP WITH THE BOY @schlnglein

Stoked to drop another 140bpm flip of a classic dubstep song, and extra hyped that I got to tag team this one with a homie across the globe.

We go back to the first @the.otherwrld compilation (slide 2) and decided to link up for our first collab (slide 3), and I’m really proud of how it turned out. This one feels like a great blend of our trap, future bass, and 140 influences.

Check out the last slide for some handwriting drafts from the artwork, featuring a recent vinyl find in the background (Trick Daddy’s smash single “Let’s Go” courtesy of Slip & Slide Records, IYKYK)

The Mainz-based DJ and producer Marius, performing under the artist name Schlnglein, has been immersed in DJing since 2015 and started producing electronic music in 2019. He specializes in Future Bass, Hardwave, and Trap.

Schlnglein’s sets stand out for their numerous edits of popular Pop and Hip-Hop songs, a reflection of his background as a mainstream DJ. With his melodic style, he skillfully tunes the audience into the perfect vibe for the bass headliners, while also showcasing a more intense side, shown by his release „Strays“.

The collaboration with Virus Mafia garnered over 16,000 plays on Soundcloud as an independent release and was supported at the Hard Summer Festival in the USA, as well as by the Trap legend Stööki Sound.

Another career highlight was the release of his track „Blame“ on Dim Mak, in collaboration with the creator of the iconic „Girl Trapz“ mixtapes, Benzi.

Schlnglein has collaborated with various international artists, enriching his sets with exclusive IDs and edits. His edits and songs can be found in numerous mixtapes and live sets by international DJs.

After we released our first tune together last year, Aroha hit me up to remix a song of the legend @rlgrime with him. So we decided to turn his beautiful Drum & Bass tune with @beamiller into a cinematic Festival Banger 💙

New song "Blame" with the Trap legend @djbenzi is out now on @dimmak 🌐

Very special milestone for me. Benzi was one of my biggest inspirations when I first started making and mixing music. Now working so closely with him on various projects and even releasing a song with him on a huge label like Dim Mak is a dream come true. Really appreciate all the support I get from you guys and the trust I get from Benzi himself 💙
