Oh sweet sister,
How you shine

Tinley Mae,
My answered prayer
You make my life more full

I remember the day we met
7 years ago today
How my heart expanded when I saw the innocence in your eyes
I didn’t know how much I could love someone
Until I held you in my arms

You can’t know, child,
Just how loved you are
By everyone who knows you

You are 7 today,
But with Jesus in your heart,
You seem more like 20

How can you be so wise,
Yet still laugh and play like a child?

The more I try to express what you mean to me,
The more I struggle to find the words

I cannot fathom why I’ve been blessed
With the title of your Big Sis,
But I’ll never take it for granted

You make me better,
I know you look up to me,
So I want to reflect Christ as much as I can
Yet I find that I learn from you too.
What a gift

To watch you grow up from a distance
Is a pain I’m not sure how to articulate
But I know you are in the best hands with Mama and Daddy

Year 2 is complete.

This year looked vastly different, and I am still so blessed to serve such a good God who is with me in the highest highs, lowest lows, and everywhere in between. Thankful for memories made and lessons learned, many tears were shed but soooo many more laughs were had. Forever grateful for the friends that run this race beside me🤍 same time next year? by @schmicksmith_23
