POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A week ago, I released The Return Within.

Then the photos started coming in.

From a paddleboard in the middle of a lake at sunrise. An office desk. A New York skyline.

From family, friends, colleagues, and people I’ve only just met.

Every one of them stopped me.

Thank you for ordering, reading, and sharing these moments with me. I’ve saved them all. 💗

And to those who’ve reached out to share which pages stayed with you, I’m reading every word.

With gratitude,

Last year, I quietly started writing a book. It became The Return Within: Reclaiming Presence and the Power to Lead.

It grew from a question I found myself asking more and more:

What happens when the definition of success you've been chasing stops feeling like yours?

It's about breaking the proving loop, letting go of what no longer fits, and returning to who you are—so you can live and lead with greater presence.

I've been practicing these lessons alongside writing them, and I still am.

I'm so excited (and honestly, it still feels a little surreal!) to finally say: The Return Within is now available on Amazon. Link in bio.

I hope these pages find the people who need them. 💛 by @lisaschmidtcoaching

Contrast brings clarity.

There’s something powerful about stepping outside your routine, your roles, your comfort zone.

Reflecting on my time in Egypt, experiencing the pyramids, the temples, and its ancient history, I see the woman who is returning.

Not the same woman who arrived.
But a woman who has come to remember.

I slowed down.
I softened.
I received.

Deeply touched by this land and its wisdom,
I learned to truly receive.
To savor the simplest moments:
a morning coffee, the kindness of a stranger, the warmth of a new friend.

A reminder of the vitality available when we set down what we’ve been carrying and practice and embody presence.

A remembering I will forever carry with me ✨ by @lisaschmidtcoaching
