Did you know there’s a synth shop in the basement of @roughtradedenmarkst?A new outpost of Berlin’s @schneidersladen and the only modular synth shop in London. @schneiderskeller offers the chance to browse a carefully curated selection of synths and modular systems, alongside a range of demo units to also try them out. Run by Edd Butterworth and Jean Marcel Fricke, the team are on hand with expert advice on essential synth equipment to design your dream set-up, as well as hosting events, workshops and synth performances. 🐲New shop system installed. SchneidersKeller on Denmark Street isn’t really secret but I keep meeting London electronic music people who haven’t been there yet, and all the people in town for NIME2026 should pop round. It’s on Denmark Street, right in the West End, downstairs in Rough Trade. It’s open Weds - Sat 12-7pm. It’s perfectly cool in hot weather! Loads of interesting cool things there - @fraptools Magnolia, @fieldtone_instruments Weaver, a beautiful @ciat_lonbarde Clicker from @patchpoint, tiny expensive @teenageengineering things and of course a Workshop System in the corner and @thonksynth DIY kits to take away. by @schneiderskeller
