I recorded this Percussion/Steel Drum cover of "Beautiful" a while back and figured I'd record some videos, edit it, and post it today! Pharrell laid down some serious heat on this track, and Snoop's flow is unmatched! 🐶🔥🔥🔥 @pharrell @snoopdogg

Did you know the song "Just the Two of Us" actually features a Steel Drum solo?? It only appears on the full 7 minute version. I always thought it was such a cool feature and decided to learn the solo for myself! Let me know if you want to see more content like this in the future! :)

This video goes out to my homeboy @ethandavidjenkins and shoutout to Ralph MacDonald for dropping some steel drum heat on this record! 🔥🔥🔥

Did a transcription of the Steel Drum solo on the 7 minute version of Just the Two of Us! Think I might put together a little thing to better showcase it soon... 👀 Keep your eyes peeled! 🥳🔥

Just working on my groove and experimenting with a sweet snare drum I found at school! An early 60's Ludwig Supraphonic 6.5" x 14" with chrome over brass! 🤯🤯🤯 Super deep and phat drum to play! Really enjoying it! 🔥
-
2nd slide is a transcription I just started looking at and learning. If you know what it is, comment down below! Amazing solo by an amazing drummer who is around today! 🔥
