I spent 4 or 5 hours at a rink yesterday. Up until the last 30 minutes when I saw some online activity status change, I was doing my best to not internally panic hard, wondering if the family I've (poorly) been attempting to help is just without Internet access, or unable to charge phones, or... 💔

The kids enjoyed themselves at least, and our family overseas 🇵🇸 is still alive... for that, I am thankful.

I hope some of you will see any of these videos and join in the efforts in some way. I hope we get to see people in person more that don't suck before the world ends. And I also hope one day to suck less on skates. You know, if I ever put the effort in 🫣 A girl can dream I guess lol

Children love to be the helpers! What makes us stop doing that as we grow older?

My daughter helped her first non-foster baby, a TNR situation 🥹 It was hard on her little heart to put them back outside. I know how it is to think you're not doing enough, so I tried to keep reassuring her.

Go spread some goodness around however you can 🥰

My daughter wants to be "an animal rescuer" and helped her first little kitten baby yesterday 😆🙂 I took her to the shelter today to see if we could locate a family, or get it to a new home. My daughter was sad to see her go, so I had to shower her with some positivity about how she helped save her first animal! Thanks to her, it got a good while in some air conditioning, some food and water, and can get those pesky bug bites taken care of while awaiting whatever is next 💚

🎶you got to get up RIGHT NOW

Feeling hopeful and inspired by seeing so much love for another person's video yesterday - I hope that you guys can keep that same energy for my friend. Their survival is literally depending on us to do so and I know we can.

Please don't let these children go to bed another day while existing in such a tragic situation without showing them with action that you stand with them. Saying you stand with them is not going to get them fed.
