Leica released the first 35mm film camera in 1923. Leica made the first Full Frame SLR Camera in 1936. Panasonic made world's first mirrorless Interchangeable lens camera in 2008.A century has passed. And in 2023 Leica and Panasonic made a partnership (known as L-square) to share the technology. Lumix and Leica share the same hardware technology now, including the mount and lenses. Lumix and Leica cameras are known for their beautiful colour science. Traditional Full-frame cameras come with a 3:2 sensor. According to greek philosophy 3:2 is a beautiful aspect ratio.Some medium format cameras like Hasselblad and Panasonic Micro Four Thirds bodies house a 4:3 sensor instead. A noisy picture can look like this. There is less shadow in it due to more dynamic range. When the noise is removed from the picture, by adding contrast, the picture changes completely giving a different look, different feel.As a photographer/cinematographer one has to think in terms of dynamic range and contrast, shadows and highlights. Because these are vital elements of storytelling. There are three basic requirements for photography 1. Light 2. Timing 3. Composition There are three basics of cinematography 1. Exposure 2. Lighting 3. Camera position/movement. लेखक ने जो लिखा है सिनेमेटोग्राफर उसे कैमरे के माध्यम से दिखाता है।फिल्म का कलर करेक्शन भावनाओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण होता है। आस्कर आवार्ड से नवाजित सिनेमेटोग्राफर सर रोजर डीकिन्स अपनी फिल्म का कलर करेक्शन स्वयं करते हैं। इस कला को फोटोग्राफी या छायांकन कहते है और एक सिनेमेटोग्राफर को डायरेक्टर ऑफ फोटोग्राफी। एक्टर्स के अलावा किसी फिल्म सेट मे सिर्फ दो ही काम मूलभूत रुप मे क्रिएटिव होते हैं- एक फिल्म डायरेक्सन और दूसरा सिनेमेटोग्राफी। एक सिनेमेटोग्राफर या फोटोग्राफर को अपनी आई (eye) डेवेलप करनी पडती है। मतलब देखने का नजरिया विकसित करना पड़ता है। यहां तक कि #digitalnoise (grain) या #lensflare भी कहानी कहने (storytelling) मे सहायक हो सकते हैं। by @school_of_cinematography
