Wishing one of the greatest frontmen in rock and roll history a happy 78th birthday today. Every member of Led Zeppelin is in a class of their own, but those songs would not demand your attention the same way if Robert Plant were not singing them. He dropped out of school to pursue music, and when Jimmy Page invited him to join the Yardbirds, Plant accepted and recommended that his friend John Bonham should play drums. This band eventually became Led Zeppelin. There will never be another one like him, so I encourage you to rock out to some Zeppelin today and sing along with the birthday boy with us. by @schoolkidson2nd

Record of the Week: Wednesday - Rat Saw God

Hey y’all! If you’ve been by the new shop, you might have noticed the record display on our mural. We’re gonna try to switch that out weekly, so we figured we’d share each week’s pick here with you! We had to kick things off with one of our NC local favorites, Wednesday! Their fifth studio release, Rat Saw God sees Wednesday in peak form with a storm of moody, brooding songs that will absolutely put you in your feels.

We were also thinking of naming the girl in the mural, but we figured y’all might have some good ideas, so we’re leaving this one to you. Sound off with your favorite name choices below. In the coming weeks we’ll collect our favorite options and then put it to a vote! taken in Downtown Wilmington by @schoolkidson2nd
