performative giving doesn’t feel right. because it’s not right.

we give because we can. because it’s the right thing to do.

Schools of Light is the kind of charity that partners with the locals who know where the real needs are… they put real work behind a real cause, in a real community.

thank you @schoolsoflight for bringing the hope of a brighter future to the children of Cebu.

Dan shares why this project matters — and how your generosity can help refugee students in Malaysia learn with nourishment and well-equipped classrooms.

Many of these children turn up to school hungry. No breakfast. No lunch. Yet they’re doing their best to learn.

🍚 $15 = rice to feed a student
🎒 $50 = classroom stationery pack

Can you help us nourish and equip these students?

📲 Watch. Share. Give.

🌾✏️ Nourish & Equip

📍Malaysia

We’re launching a new project with Destiny School Malaysia to support 180 refugee students with the essentials they need to learn and thrive.

🍚 $15 provides a 10kg bag of rice to feed students who come to school without breakfast or lunch.
✏️ $50 provides a stationery pack for a teacher and their class — with books, markers, pencils and more.

Let’s help these students learn with full stomachs and equipped classrooms. Every gift makes a difference.

You Can’t Learn on an Empty Stomach 🍽️

Before a child can concentrate, participate or thrive in the classroom, their basic needs must be met — and that starts with food.

Research shows that children who are well-nourished are more alert, have better memory, and perform significantly better at school.

In fact, according to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, physiological needs like food and water are the foundation for all other growth — including learning.

Education begins with nourishment.
