Friends of Schram Haus, After nearly seven years in Chaska, we’ve made the difficult decision that Schram Haus Brewery will be closing at the end of the year. This decision did not come easily, but it is a necessary one. Like many small breweries, the increasing costs at this location have made operating as a brewery unsustainable for us moving forward. We are incredibly proud of what has been built on this bluff, and we’re deeply grateful to the community that has supported us. We’ve been through a lot together. We will remain open through the end of the year, and all scheduled December events are still on, including the Holiday Haus Market, live music, comedy night, trivia, and bingo. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate this final month together. We’ll also share a few fun send offs and specials throughout December as a thank you for the unforgettable years here. Exact closing date at the end of December will be announced soon. As for what comes next, Schram Haus beer will live on at our Schram Vineyards location in Waconia. We are still working through the details, but we look forward to continuing the Schram Haus beer brand there and welcoming you to enjoy it with us. Thank you, Chaska, for the memories! by @schramhaus

Tonight we got to celebrate our amazing staff at an employee party and plan for our rescheduled final day since last Sunday was snowed out. We are so grateful to have had these amazing folks keeping this place running day in and day out. We will OPEN one more time THIS FRIDAY, January 2nd, 12pm-10pm. WEATHER UPDATE! When we chose our final day of business, we certainly weren’t expecting blizzard conditions. We know many of you were planning to come out today to raise a glass with us, especially for our Beer Club Cheers! However, with the weather forecast calling for blizzard conditions and no travel recommendations from local agencies, we don’t want anyone to feel obligated to travel for our last day if road conditions become unsafe. Keeping our parking lot properly plowed and safe during a storm like this is also a major undertaking. For those reasons, we’ve decided to close today. But don't despair! The good news: WE WILL REOPEN FOR ONE MORE DAY later this week so we can give Schram Haus the proper send-off it deserves and make sure you can come in one more time. We’re finalizing the details on when and what that looks like and will post soon. Thank you for your understanding and we'll be in touch! by @schramhaus
