Above the vineyards of Tokaj, the Sauska Tokaj winery appears to hover in the landscape. Two overlapping, lens-shaped volumes are supported by slender steel columns and house a restaurant, bar and panoramic terrace. The wine production facilities are protected within the hillside, making the architecture itself part of the visitor experience. Natural timber, local limestone and steel translate the region’s heritage into a contemporary form.

Perched on a rocky slope west of Queenstown, the Summit Lane residence is arranged in two elongated volumes overlooking Lake Wakatipu. Expansive glazing, automated sliding doors and a pared-back palette of timber, cedar, Colorsteel and schist connect the retreat with its spectacular surroundings.

180 metres of vertical urban life: With the Danube Flats, Vienna gains a new landmark. 48 floors, around 600 apartments and generous outdoor spaces are complemented by a spa, fitness facilities, concierge services and shared spaces. The sweeping balconies that wrap around the building give the façade its distinctive rhythm while creating private outdoor areas with natural protection from the sun and wind. A supermarket, restaurants and a medical centre add to the range of amenities in the building’s base. As a new gateway to Donau City, the project stands for compact urban development, short distances and diverse mobility options with plenty of space for urban life.

The Lufthansa Group Hangar One at Frankfurt Airport brings together an exhibition, conference centre and meeting place under one roof. The 17.55-metre-high hall features floor-to-ceiling glazing on three sides, with the Junkers Ju 52 and Lockheed Super Star taking centre stage. A translucent membrane inspired by an aircraft wing complements the glass façade, providing protection from the sun, glare, unwanted views and the elements. A café, shop, workshop areas and event spaces make the hangar a versatile destination for employees, partners, visitors and aviation enthusiasts.

The hip Tower is creating a new hub for research, education and technology-driven companies in Heilbronn’s IPAI innovation park. With 8,000 m² of space, the office building combines a distinctive architectural identity with a consistent focus on reducing CO₂ emissions: embodied emissions in the building envelope are reduced by more than 70%, while a heat pump and photovoltaic system support energy-efficient operation.

A fresh look, a new lease of life: this 1970s house was completely reimagined and extended by an additional floor. The light upper level creates a striking contrast with the dark recessed base. Inside, exposed concrete, pared-back materials and personal art come together in a generous double-height living hall.
