This post is long overdue, but I couldn’t be more grateful for my time in Rethymno. I learned a lot about myself, volleyball, and life during my first year. Who would’ve thought that living in a foreign country would be such an adjustment?? A massive thank you to both the coaches and management for helping me adjust and accommodating me. And thank you to the team for being able to welcome a “dumb American” into the fold. If you told me as a kid just starting out that I’d be playing professional volleyball in Greece, I’d call you crazy, but this is what hard works gets you! Being able to live out your dreams. As yall can see in the end, my season was cut short, but I am now on the road to recovery and am extremely excited to come back even stronger than before! Time to get to work 😈 #μαλακα #παμε #Ρέθυμνο taken in Rethymno, Greece by @schuuele

Starting from 5th grade volleyball to now the end of my collegiate career would I have ever imagined the accomplishments I was able to achieve. It’s crazy how fast time flew by from my first game at GCU to now my final game at McKendree. Words can’t even describe how grateful I am for McKendree and the staff that believed in me from day one. None of this would have been possible without Christian Staple and even though he never saw me play outside in club, he was somehow my number one cheerleader and supporter of coming to McKendree and thanks to him this dream turned into a reality. Excited to begin a new chapter of life and volleyball. #LY2 #shakethecup #deadbird taken in McKendree University by @schuuele
