I’ve been trying to find the words to describe this entire experience, and I don’t think I ever will find the words to truly describe what this journey was for me, how it felt for me, and how much I fell in love with this sport

I want to say thank you to everyone who has followed and supported this prep, it has been such a surreal journey to me, and to receive all the love and support I did on top of it, is unreal. The DMs, and messages from everyone throughout this prep, to the comments; to watching my YouTube series. Are all things that kept me focused in on this prep, and helped me push through the harder days. And I am beyond grateful for everyone across the platforms God has blessed me with

And the biggest thank you to @tyler_bedson for bringing me on last minute and taking me through this prep. I have learned, and grown so much as a man and a competitor through this man by the week. He took me straight from powerlifting into my first prep, and made it the smoothest experience possible for me. I can’t speak highly enough about who he is as a mentor, a man, and a coach for someone to be guided by

Prep, and stepping on stage is something no one can put into words. The way it makes you feel in those moments under the spotlight, is indescribable.

But what I can put into words, is that I fell in love with this sport. I found a deep love and passion for it in this prep, and stepping on stage. And this won’t be the last time you see me up there, I’m hungrier than I ever thought I could be to earn my spot in the pro league, and I will be back up on stage in due time to prove that. by @schuylerreeves

I was searching for the truth and I found Jesus. He led me to you.

Bodybuilding…

You changed my life. You are a gift. You were given to me when I needed you the most.

When I didn’t know who I was. When I didn’t have much left to fight for. When I thought tears were my only release.

You were there when I needed a place to go. You were there when I was lonely. You were there through every hardship.

My favorite thing you’ve done is bring me back to the One who gave you to me in the first place…

God.

A love that can never be replaced. A dependence that gives me peace. A life I could never imagine or manufacture for myself.

I’m grateful to have so much favor that I don’t have to perform for.

Thank You Jesus.

This is the beginning of a beautiful journey.

The secret is to love what you do

Cole, on the left, is down 45 pounds since we started in April- and we’ve only just wrapped up phase one of what we have planned

Lucas, on the right, has been with me since May 2025. We competed together this year for the first time, and now, 13 weeks post show, he’s up 30 pounds from stage weight

Being trusted to play a role in both of their journeys is something I’ll never take lightly. Getting to train together and pose together made this one of those surreal moments that reminded me exactly why I do this

It’s the little moments like this that keep adding fuel to the fire. They make the long nights and seven day weeks worth every second

I love bodybuilding- but I love coaching even more. This is where my heart and soul is

Congratulations to @sam.brdshw on his debut!

Sam started with me just over a year ago, in July of 2025

When we first started working together, his testosterone was noticeably low and affected his performance. He showed patience by taking the time to get his hormones and overall health markers back into healthy, functional ranges

With stage as our goal we went through a push phase, added some quality tissue, and eventually had a decision: run another growth phase, or take on the stage and see if this was something he truly loved doing

Needless to say, he found out pretty quickly

Around 21 weeks of prep, and I genuinely cannot remember a single complaint from Sam. He is the definition of whatever it takes

I am not only proud, but I’m equally impressed by the way he handled this entire process

Prep is not easy. especially the first time around. People drop out, binge, loose motivation, loose love for the sport etc. But sam was all in. From day 1 to stage

No slipping, No negotiating, No looking for shortcuts

I also want to thank Chris for all of the work he put into Sam’s posing, and Emma for supporting Sam throughout this entire prep

But most of all, Huge shoutout to you Sam

Back in December/January, I made the decision to step away from competing and come off cycle

I was hitting a point where I started to realize my mental health was not anywhere near I had thought it was, my physical health could be better, and evaluating where am I at with the relationships in my life, and what I want to achieve long term

I absolutely loved being on stage, but as every year passes getting to coach others, I realize more and more that is where I find the most fulfillment

The most rewarding moments I’ve had in this sport have been watching clients step on stage, hit new milestones, and accomplish things they once thought were impossible. I want to pour everything & more into my clients that I can, and continue to do so with everyone I get an opportunity to work with

For me personally my heart can’t be in both. I can’t be 100% coach, and 100% competitor year round at the same time. One had to give, and that isn’t a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

For everyone who has supported me throughout my years as a competitor, thank you, I am unbelievably appreciative for all of it

I see myself always being involved in the sport of bodybuilding, I have an immense amount of love & passion for it. And how I see myself being involved now, and moving forward, is as a coach within the space!

I’m excited to continue sharing my own journey, but even more excited to continue sharing the journey of the incredible people I get to work with every day and celebrate their wins right alongside them!!
