Peep the start of Valleè Blanche the highest lift accessed "off piste" route in Europe (Slides 16-19). Accessible by the Aiguelle de Midi lift (12,602 ft). The route starts with a narrow ridge walk (Slide 16) followed by 8,878 ft drop down into Mer De Glace (Slides 2-3). This route requires avalanche rescue gear (harness, transceiver, shovel, probe), ice axe, crampons, and ski gear. A guide is highly recommended.

~9mi into the #ConundrumValley we found an alpine oasis with water oozing out of the crust in all directions and tubs of bubbling hot water. Met some nice humans, a family of deer, and the funniest not so small ombre marmot.
