A man in a truck had to be rescued after getting stuck in a flash flood Tuesday. @azfiremedical, along with a Maricopa County Sheriff's Dept helicopter, plucked the man from his overturned truck after he was unable to navigate Hassayampa River outside of Phoenix. He was evaluated on the scene by medical, but did not need to go to the hospital. He was lucky. Never drive your vehicle through a flooded road, wash or river. taken in Arizona by @schwartztv

⚡️⚠️Waking up to storms in Phoenix! Heavy rain is falling around the metro with flooding potential. The foothills and mountains outside of Phoenix have the greatest risk for flooding. (Radar image 4:40am) taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @schwartztv

Get ready, Phoenix! ☔️⚠️Plan on rain the next couple of days in Arizona. Some of the rain could be heavy at times, leading to flash flooding. There is also a thunderstorm risk, especially for Tuesday. The greatest risk for flooding will be in the mountains and areas north and east of Phoenix. Highs will be in the low 80s for the next few days, with warmer and drier conditions for your weekend. ☀️ by @schwartztv

Here we go again, Waymo in the storm! A Waymo almost hit a car while backing up to avoid water in the street today during Phoenix storms Wednesday. ☔️🤖 What would you have done if you were the car behind it? 👀#beepboop #waymo #ai taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @schwartztv
