11/25/24 i cannot begin to express in words how much i wish my bubba could have won his constant battle in this lifetime. it pains me that i could not see him one last time, tell him i love him again, and get a bear hug from his 6’7 giant self. if you knew my bubba, he was never serious and was always cracking a hilarious joke, he never failed to put a smile on everyones face. while sometimes i felt like the older, more mature sibling, i could have never in a million years asked for a better big brother. i can’t believe my future kids won’t be able to meet their, no doubt, fun uncle - let alone, he won’t be there at my wedding day or my college graduation. you don’t realize how much you’re going to miss someone until they’re really gone. a piece of my heart is now up in heaven, but i know when he arrived he ran to my grandma and gave her the biggest hug. there is no doubt that i will miss him every single day, but a part of me is also relieved that he isn’t in physical or mental pain anymore. 20 years with you was not enough. i am going to miss him so much until i see him again and until then, i hope he’s watching over me and cheering me on - please send me some signs bubba, i love you with my entire heart forever and ever, to the fence and back💘 by @schylar.smith
