Speaking of favourites, PhREAK comes in strong for the title.

When @gggguerra first sent us the track, it was love at first listen. An electro banger with a cool swing and strong street influences, bringing together lasers, a laid back vocal and plenty of groove.

It’s the kind of track that grabs you without trying too hard. We seriously doubt you’ll be able to stand still when this one hits the dancefloor. by @sci_phunk

POUR TOI

Pour Toi comes from Sisto with stripped-back drums, a groove full of personality and that feeling of a track that could easily become a hit.

Beautiful chords and a swing that makes it hard to stand still give the track its own character, keeping things simple but never boring.

This one might just be the favourite of this release, at least for some of you. But with this many hits on the EP, picking just one might be a problem. by @sci_phunk

SCIENCE

Composed by Criminal System over two years ago, Science is a track that has already proven its place on the dancefloor.

Built around a funky groove that keeps evolving towards its peak moments, the track carries an infectious energy while remaining versatile enough to work at different moments of the night, and specially during the day.

Rolling drums, electro-infused elements and a strong funky foundation come together to create a sound that feels deeply connected to the essence of Sci Phunk. The vocals bring the label’s own slogan into the track, adding another layer to its identity. by @sci_phunk

For this release, we’ve compiled four special tracks that carry a little piece of Sci Phunk’s history and reflect the energy we’re always looking to bring to the dancefloor: modern, dynamic and vibrant.

Captured by the heads of our firm, alongside a special contribution from a highly talented emerging artist who delivered a truly special track that we’re very happy to have on the label.

No more talking… the new Sci Phunk VA is out.

Sci Phunk is back.

After a long hiatus, we return with VOL. 6 — four tracks from Criminal System, Sisto, gggguerra and Late Spinners.

Different frequencies, same source. Funk, house, electro, groove and experimentation pushed through the Sci Phunk filter.

Out Friday. Bandcamp exclusive.

The science continues. by @sci_phunk
