Hey!

As many people know we have been inactive since the pandemic, facing other issues such as our drummer Ryan undergoing surgery on his back and causing drumming in a thrash band to not be exactly possible going forward. As we have left things inactive I've decided to step down also as better to admit when something is over in its current situation than to fade away.

I'm extremely proud of everything we've achieved as a band in the last 10 years, thanks to everyone who caught a show, bought some merch/music to support us and all the talented legends that played with us over the years, its been awesome :)

So we'll be laying down our axe and sticks to rest for live music for now but who knows what the future holds.

If John wishes to continue Scimitar I wish him all the best in their future projects.

Its been ace, and I'm sure it won't be the last time I'm involved in our local music scene.

Peace ✌

This Gig happened 9 years ago.
I believe it was the only time we ended up playing 'Police Truck' by Dead Kennedy's. Super fun night.

Who was there for that?

I think we had to wait at least 2 maybe 3 years to play this gig. By 2015 it was all go. Great experience and even got this novelty back stage pass.
To think that was 6 years ago.

Time flies when you're having fun.

Few years back we done a gig outside fresh garbage for culture night. If I remember correctly the only time we covered Judas Priest - Breaking the Law.
Very fun evening spray silly string over people that turned their noses up at us walking by.

Scimitar is officially ten years old.

We learnt to walk, run and thrash like a manic!

Thank you to all that have supported us on our journey.

Plague in the Vatican Promo 2014

Mad to think this was 7 years ago.
I still remember this day and photoshoot.
Pretty certain it ended with pizza.
