Trying out some low end ideas for this track I’ve been working on. I’m liking the triplet feel section. Swipe to mute the guitars! Best enjoyed with 🎧!

Long emotional caption incoming:

In February of 2019 I stood in with @asoaband at a new music showcase at Smith Public Trust. 4 years, ~30 shows, 1 tour, 1 album, and 2 EP’s later, I’m packing my things for my final rehearsal with this band tonight.

It’s been an incredible ride and I’ve had the opportunity to accomplish many personal goals with this band.

To my bandmates Ian and JR, I’ve had the best time with you. You’re good guys and great friends - even if you do both have p****hands that wouldn’t scare a beaver. Thank you for all you’ve taught me and the memories we’ve shared. I’ll miss our banter and constant jokes at rehearsal, backstage, and on the road. I wish I could find one pic that entirely captures the nature of our band and friendship.

Thank you to everyone who has and will continue to support the band. These guys have big things ahead of them.

My last official show with Apes will be this Friday. Post about the show to come but for now I just want to reminisce.

Retroactively feeling honored to have taken the stage with @asoaband for @epicurecafe’s final show. I had no idea at the time that we would be one of the last acts to play there. It’s heartbreaking to hear Epicure is closing, but I’m glad to have shared in its story and community for a short time. Love and respect to those who create and operate these spaces.

The face you make when you’re having fun. If you’re smiling the riff sucks.
