For earth day this year we wanted to show you some of the sustainable practices we have in the salon.
1. Rinsing foils- Since those foils we use for highlights are made out of aluminum, they can be recycled, we just need to rinse off the color residue before throwing them in the recycling bin, and we are happy to go that extra mile!
2. Refillable products- Not only do we refill the products we use on your hair in the salon, we can refill your take home too! Our whole apothecary is consisted of products with refillable, recyclable and compostable packaging.
3. Composting- Tea leafs and coffee grounds from the drinks we serve ya!
4. Eco heads- Not only do these filter the water, they also reduce water and energy usage by up to $65%
5. Sugaring- This alternative to waxing doesn’t need wasteful strips and is just simple ingredients (sugar, water, and lemon) that can also be composted.
6. Reusable towels- No single use paper towels because we don’t mind the laundry!
7. Green circle- This company helps us divert those things we can’t recycle on our own, like color we have leftover, to prevent it from going in the waterways. They also help us with small plastics, color tubes, and gloves! @greencirclesalons

By taking these extra steps we have been able to divert over 99% of our waste, making us a carbon negative business!
