Six hours of rehearsals, and our students continue to show us exactly what professional training looks like. 👏🏼

The consistency, stamina, focus and determination they are demonstrating is something to be incredibly proud of. Showing up, staying switched on, pushing through the challenges and maintaining standards from the first hour to the last — THAT is what it takes. 💪🏼

The industry demands resilience, discipline and the ability to deliver, even when you’re tired. Our students are embracing that challenge head-on, and we couldn’t be prouder of the professionalism they are showing. ❤️‍🔥

This is the work behind the magic. This is the commitment behind the performance. This is The Worx College 🔥 by @scl_college

We caught up with Deacon, one of SCL’s learners at @prodirectacademy_manchester to hear more about his experience and how his time with SCL has helped him develop his knowledge and skills ⚽

From developing as a player to building experience as a coach, Deacon has been able to explore his interest in coaching through our Coaching Excellence Pathway, and we can’t wait to see where his coaching journey takes him.

Want to find out more about our pathways? We’d love to hear from you.

Question of the week ❓

We asked the players what is the easiest position to play on the pitch. ⚽️

Mixed answers but Centre back is seen to be as the easiest 🤝

🔥 Amazing opportunity for our lads! 🔥

10 of our players had the opportunity to take part in the PDFC Breakfast Club, encouraging the lads to get up, get active and earn their breakfast! 💪🥣

PD:FC partnered with Nike this week for the release of the new Haaland boots 👟⚡ — and even better, the lads got to keep them!

Massive shoutout to @rh_elitecoaching for putting on an excellent session. The lads absolutely loved it! 👏

Another fantastic opportunity provided by Pro Direct Academy, creating experiences and opportunities that others simply can’t. 🌟

Meet SCL x Pro Direct Manchester's coach Hayden Campbell ⚽

What does it take to go from playing Pro football to coaching the next generation?

Hayden’s journey took him from the pitch into his role as Head of Football. From academy football at 7 years old to playing pro from 18 to 21, Hayden has spent most of his life in the game.
Now, as our Head of Football, he’s helping the next generation find their own path on the pitch 🙌

We have kicked off our recruitment for 2027-2028.

Think “Football & Education Programme” means academy-level players only? There are loads of ways to get involved.

✅ Play full-time football alongside your studies
✅ Try coaching or performance analysis
✅ Learn from UEFA A & B qualified coaches
✅ Build real experience for a career in sport, on or off the pitch
✅Real opportunity for employment in coaching or gym experience
✅Study extra A-Levels alongside the program
