Face-offs can go two ways… either it explodes with tension and unnecessary BS, or it gets almost funny how chill some fighters are.

Today we got that second kind with my boys @scootafr and @thedarcenight… “It’s just a fight!” Face to face, no noise, no fake energy, just chill, relax and ready. Different type of beasts.

Some fighters try to make noise at the wrong moment. These two saved for the cage.

This Saturday it’s all action at @combatnightmma in Jacksonville.

“Super chill” ends when the cage door closes.

Nesse sábado é só alegria no @combatnightmma in #jacksonville. taken in Jacksonville, Florida by @scootafr

Nah this can’t be real

It’s honestly impressive how fast @scootafr was able to flip around with virtually no jumping. We still think he might be trolling us and can actually do a backflip tho. Regardless, what a hilarious last second to celebrate winning an MMA fight.

Basics WIN fights.
••••••••••
The spinning back fist is typically a HIGH risk and HIGH reward type of move. If you land it, you’ve likely caused some damage with the force generated. If they level change, you’ve likely spun yourself right into a takedown. Even though his timing and range was great on the spinning back fist, @scootafr realized he was at the cage wall and hit a nice level change to the double to avoid damage.

Do you like this counter?
