I'm currently creating the Lost Grotto of Wonder, an interactive temporary art installation with a tropical island steampunk theme.

Toured the mind blowing art deco Paramount Theater, Oakland CA, today. It is an amazing example of an architect collaborating with and orchestrating many diverse artists and craftspeople. (Timothy Plueger architect, 1931) by @scooterx

Are you going to Burning Man? Are you buying any camping gear? I’m requesting you don’t buy from REI this summer.
The “friendly co-op from Seattle” has eight stores who’ve voted to unionize, or are heading there, and the company is using all the same union busting moves we’ve seen other big companies use. They’ve reduced pay at one store, been slow to comply with basic information requests, locked out employees, fired pro-union employees, etc.

It’s time to remind the Co-op that customers care about employees.

Finally solved this problem. (My lettering work uses specific brushes that have longer bristles and longer handles than typical artist brushes.)

TOM’S PLACE
An immersive experience celebrating the art of Tom of Finland at Burning Man. We’re a one night only queer pop-up bar where the guests are part of the art.

I’m delighted to announce there is now a trusted remedie to the scourge of Grotto Fever!

A team of highly respected Doctors have determined that this, and this alone, is their placebo of choice.

Now people can learn about the Lost Grotto of Wonder during the daytime (when we’re closed) as well as evening when we’re open to Explorers.
